OUR RESTAURANT

Cannibal Creek Vineyard is one of the many award winning Gippsland winery restaurants in the region. Our Modern-Australian style menu is complimented by our French style wines. Specifically, we are inspired by France’s most famous wine regions, Bordeaux and Burgundy. Most produce is sourced from local or Gippsland producers, supplemented by the onsite kitchen garden and growing orchard. Like our wine, our menu is designed for sharing, consisting of a tempting array of share plates and larger dishes.

KID FRIENDLY RESTAURANT!

The restaurant is family-friendly, with a kid’s menu upon request. There is also a changing table for your convenience. The grounds are perfectly situated next to the large open windows of the restaurant and the deck. From here, you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst easily keeping an eye on the kids!

The deck is also open to our furry friends! We are dog friendly. So, feel welcome to bring them out for a day trip and a wander around the farm or visit one of the beautiful dog friendly walks such as the stunning Torongo and Amphitheatre Falls near Noojee. Click here to check out our blog post on Mount Cannibal, and other notable hikes that we recommend for a lovely day out.

The restaurant seats 40 patrons. In addition, there is a private dining area seating approximately 18. Our team of local staff offer visitors a warm, professional and genuine experience. We accommodate for dietary requirements with notice. Contact us for details or if you would like to discuss a set menu for your larger group.

THE BUILDING

While the restaurant is new, it was designed to reflect our old corrugated turn-of-the-century barn. This is where all of our wine is still made. The Restaurant was designed by locals Nathan and Emma Green of Enarchitect. However, Patrick Hardiker personally constructed the fit-out that houses our Cellar Door.

Here, visitors can sample the Cannibal Creek wine range and purchase other items.

ACCESSIBILITY

Please note that there is wheelchair access and disabled toilets.

Please note that currently we do not cater weddings. We are open from Friday to Sunday for lunch and dinners on Friday evenings, although winter hours may apply. Find out more about our opening hours here.

“We are very pleasantly surprised at the recognition our wine has received during the last five years. Our Halliday rating stands as a 4.5 star winery, through to a humbling 9 awards (including Wine of the Show) at the annual French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wine Show Le Concours des Vins de Victoria in 2014. Each year, we are delighted by the widening ripple of recognition and support we receive from industry and the general public.”

Our Reviews

Cannibal Creek Winery is a hidden gem in West Gippsland. The location is quiet and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowds. You can dine inside, by the fire or out on the deck when the weather is right…Being a winery they also have a fabulous range of wines to complement every dish. Their Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is definitely my favourite.

There were 4 of us dining (2 for the first time at Cannibal Creek) and the feedback from each of us was unanimous. The meals were sensational and staff and venue awesome. From the moment we walked in our awesome waitresses (sorry cannot remember her name) was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We will be back

We could not have chosen a better place than Cannibal Creek for our catch-up with friends from South Gippsland. The friendly welcoming staff, the tasting facility, the food, wine and service were second to none. The share platters were perfect for us and the Cannibal Creek Chardonnay a stand-out. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Lunch, had a charcuterie board, cheese board and Arancini Balls. Food was delicious and the wait staff were professional, polite and did an amazing job. The setting was great, could look out over the deck to the grounds. A really nice place to come and enjoy local produce and wine. Well Done

We have been enjoying the Blanc de Blanc for a couple of years and today we thought we would visit the winery to taste what else was on offer and from the welcoming staff the afternoon was simply brilliant we hadn’t booked but we were accommodated. The wine list and menu were first class, this will be a place that we will enjoy with our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon
