WEDDINGS AT CANNIBAL CREEK

Nestled just an hour east of Melbourne, Cannibal Creek is a boutique, award winning single estate winery set on approximately five hectares of vines in the lush Tynong Valley.

The winery’s architect-designed wedding space is crafted with reclaimed timber and jarrah bar accents, creating a warm, sophisticated atmosphere for both intimate ceremonies and stylish receptions. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the scenic surroundings, with comfy lounges by the fire and an inviting veranda for outdoor gatherings.

CEREMONY

Cannibal Creek Winery offers a picturesque and private setting for your wedding ceremony, nestled among rolling vines and natural bushland.

Each ceremony is thoughtfully curated to highlight the beauty of the landscape while ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

Perfect for couples seeking a relaxed yet elegant ceremony in the heart of Gippsland, Cannibal Creek Winery provides the ideal canvas for your special moment.

Ceremony and reception hire includes exclusive use of the architecturally designed venue and grounds for 8 hours, with a ceremony held on lush lawns and 30 white americana chairs for guest seating.

You’ll have a signing wine barrel, power access for music or amplification, and a built-in bar with glassware. A wishing well, gift, and cake table are provided, along with on-site parking for guests and access for setup and pack-down within an agreed timeframe.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

At Cannibal Creek, couples select a 5-hour beverage package for their guests, served by friendly staff from a fully equipped bar. Starting from $60 per person (minimum 50 guests), the package includes a range of wines, beers, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks, with options to tailor the selection and add extras like arrival drinks, cocktails, or spirits.

When it comes to food, Cannibal Creek offers a range of wedding menus to suit different tastes and budgets. If the in-house menus aren’t the right fit, couples can instead choose from a trusted network of external caterers. This flexibility ensures every couple can create a food and beverage experience that feels just right for their celebration.

“We are very pleasantly surprised at the recognition our wine has received during the last five years. Our Halliday rating stands as a 4.5 star winery, through to a humbling 9 awards (including Wine of the Show) at the annual French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wine Show Le Concours des Vins de Victoria in 2014. Each year, we are delighted by the widening ripple of recognition and support we receive from industry and the general public.”

Our Reviews

Cannibal Creek Winery is a hidden gem in West Gippsland. The location is quiet and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowds. You can dine inside, by the fire or out on the deck when the weather is right…Being a winery they also have a fabulous range of wines to complement every dish. Their Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is definitely my favourite.

There were 4 of us dining (2 for the first time at Cannibal Creek) and the feedback from each of us was unanimous. The meals were sensational and staff and venue awesome. From the moment we walked in our awesome waitresses (sorry cannot remember her name) was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We will be back

We could not have chosen a better place than Cannibal Creek for our catch-up with friends from South Gippsland. The friendly welcoming staff, the tasting facility, the food, wine and service were second to none. The share platters were perfect for us and the Cannibal Creek Chardonnay a stand-out. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Lunch, had a charcuterie board, cheese board and Arancini Balls. Food was delicious and the wait staff were professional, polite and did an amazing job. The setting was great, could look out over the deck to the grounds. A really nice place to come and enjoy local produce and wine. Well Done

We have been enjoying the Blanc de Blanc for a couple of years and today we thought we would visit the winery to taste what else was on offer and from the welcoming staff the afternoon was simply brilliant we hadn’t booked but we were accommodated. The wine list and menu were first class, this will be a place that we will enjoy with our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon
