Cannibal Creek Vineyard is located in the foothills of the Black Snake Ranges in the West Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia.

Our grapes are hand picked and our wines are crafted with a minimal amount of handling to produce a traditional style, premium wine.

‘Cannibal Creek is an emergent small producer of seriously flavoursome and interesting wines from pinot noir, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. The Pinot Noir is consistently firm and full of character, while the sauvignon blanc is a stylish, lightly grassy ad  minerally edition with more than a little attitude and class.’
Jeremy Oliver The Australian Wine Annual 2006

Vintage Report 2009
2009 saw extreme weather conditions the worst of which was Black Saturday, when Victoria had its worst bushfires possibly ever. We were six km from the Bunyip State Park fires, a very distressing time for everyone.

Reviews

‘There isn’t alot of Australian varietal saurvignon blanc of international standard, but Cannibal Creek makes a wine of intense passionfruit and gooseberry flavour and nervy acidity...It’s one of the few Australian makers whose sauvignon blancs can rival the best from Marlborough in New Zealand’
Jeremy Oliver The Australian Wine Annual 2008.
